izzy hosts global preview of HÅG Futu seating from Norway
Formal introduction takes place at Orgatec 2008
CHICAGO - June 2008 - izzy hosts the global preview of the new HÅG Futu chair from Norway at the NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2008 in Chicago, June 9-11, 2008.
The formal product introduction takes place at the Orgatec trade fair at Cologne Exhibition Center in Germany this October.
The novel, steely elegance of HÅG Futu neatly packages more function in less space. Following Scandinavian Design Philosophy, the precise design still offers full task-chair functionality. Seating adjustments are remarkably simple without protruding levers.
HÅG Futu weighs only 35.3 pounds with arms, and is made of just seven different materials, including specially designed FutuKnit upholstery. Precisely shaped and fitted, this three-dimensional knit fabric provides resilient elasticity. HÅG Futu is 97 percent recyclable and made of recyclable composites. To reduce environmental impact, the backrest contains no foam, and the chair is constructed without chrome, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or glue.
The entire chair is designed for disassembly, including components individually labeled to identify material content.
